Information we collect
Through the application form we collect the information you provide directly: the vehicle type you are shopping for, your self-described credit situation, employment status, estimated monthly income, postal code, full name, date of birth, email address, phone number, and your preferred contact time.
We may also collect technical information automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, device, referring page and pages viewed, through standard web analytics and advertising measurement tools.
Consent to obtain and share credit information
By submitting an application you expressly consent to Anders Ponton, Go Kia Richmond, Go Auto and the lenders and financial institutions they work with obtaining a consumer credit report and credit score about you from a credit reporting agency such as Equifax Canada or TransUnion Canada, and to those parties exchanging your application and credit information with each other for the purpose of assessing and arranging vehicle financing.
A credit report request made in connection with a financing application is a hard inquiry and may affect your credit score. If you only want to know where your credit stands, use a soft-check pre-qualification tool instead of submitting an application.
Consent to be contacted
By submitting an application you consent to being contacted by phone, text message and email about your application, financing options and vehicle availability, including by automated means, in accordance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation. Message and data rates may apply. You can withdraw contact consent at any time by replying STOP to a text, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or emailing aponton@goauto.ca.
How we use your information
Your information is used to assess your financing application, match it to lenders most likely to approve your situation, communicate with you about your application, arrange a vehicle, meet legal and regulatory obligations, and improve this website. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we disclose it to
Your application information may be disclosed to Go Kia Richmond and other Go Auto dealerships, Go Auto's in-house Yes Plan financing, third-party lenders and financial institutions, credit reporting agencies, insurers where applicable, and service providers who host or support our systems. Service providers may store or process information outside British Columbia or Canada, where it may be accessible to foreign courts and law enforcement.
Advertising and analytics
This website may use cookies and measurement tools, including Meta and Google advertising technologies, to understand how visitors find and use the site and to measure advertising performance. Where required, non-essential tracking is only loaded after you consent. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.
Retention and safeguards

Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer process a financing application for you.
